Masala arbi









Ingredients
500 gms arbi(colocassia)
2 medium onion finely chopped
2 medium Tomatoes finely chopped
1 tbsp Turmeric (haldi) powder
2 tbsp cumin seeds( jeera)
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp Dry mango powder (amchur)
2 tbsp Coriander powder
1 tbsp Cumin powder
1 tbsp Garam masala powder
Salt to taste
Oil to fry and cook
Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped

Method

.first peel arbi and cut in lengthwise.

.Heat  oil in a non-stick pan. Add arbi and cook they turn light brown in color. Drain on absorbent paper. In the same  oil  add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.

.Add onions cook further till onions become translucent.Add tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes get cooked. Add amchur powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder ,salt and mix it well and cook for two to three minutes.

.Add the fried arbis and half cup of water.mix well and cover with lid for 5-10 minutes on medium flame.when it leaves oil it is ready to serve.

.Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves..
