Chatpata Karela Fry
Ingredients
500 gm Karela/bitter gourd
1big sliced onion
1medium chopped tomato
1tsp cumin seeds/ jeera
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp coriander powder/ dhaniya powder
2 tsp dry mango powder/ amchur powder
Red chilli powder to taste
Salt to taste
Oil
Method.
.peel karela with knife and cut into four pieces.(finger size)
.put salt on karelas and rub it well.leave it for 1 hour.
.wash karela properly and keep it aside.
.heat oil and dèep fry all Karelas.after it shift it on the kitchen napkin to absorb excess oil.
.heat oil for masala in a pan.add cumin seeds and onion cook it for 5 -6 minutes.
.now add chopped tomato and leftover ingredients.cook it properly.
.add fry Karelas in this masala and cook it for 5 minutes on medium flame.
.ready to serve.
