Plain Crispy Dosa



Ingredients for  Plain Crispy Dosa

2 cup rice
1 cup urad dal
1 tsp methi dana / fenugreek seeds
Salt to taste
Water as required for batter
Oil for making dosa

Method.

.wash rice properly when the water runs clear. Now soak separately in enough water for 2-3 hours.

.wash urad dal and methi dana properly and soak them together in enough water for 2-3 hours.

.after that drain water from dal and rice mixture . grind to a smooth and fluffy batter by adding little water.

.Transfer it to the large bowl and keep this in a warm place until fermented for 6-7hours( depends the temperature of your city)

. Add water to enough thin it down to make it a pouring consistency.

. Heat dosa pan grease with few drops of oil.

.keep the flame low while spreading the batter. Spread the dosa batter in circular way on the pan. Cook the dosa on medium flame.

. Sprinkle oil on the top and edges of the dosa.

.when you see its base become golden and crispy. Fold the dosa and serve with chutney and sambar.

Note.
.donot use long grain rice.

.You can also add Channa dal and Poha with urad dal .
