Fried Modak

Modak is made in so many ways on ganesh chaturthi festival but here my mother in law tried fried modak which is very simple .Try it.
How to make it
Ingredients
For stuffing
1/2 kg mawa/khoya
1/2 kg suji/semolina
1/2 kg powder sugar
1/4 tspElaichi powder
1/2 cup Chopped dry fruits

For dough
1 kg maida/all purpose flour
250gm oil
Water for kneeding
Ghee /oil for frying

Method
.first roast suji for 2 mins and keep it aside. Then roast mawa and also keep it aside.cool it down.after it take bowl add suji mawa powder sugar elaichi powder and dry fruits mix it well..stuffing is ready for modak.

.take bowl add maida oil and water.make a smooth dough.rest it for 10 mins.
How to proceed.
.take small ball of dough and make small rotis and fill this stuffing in it and give it potali shape.
.Heat ghee and fry till it is golden brown on medium flame. Shift this on kitchen napkin to absorb excess oil.
.Modak is ready for prasad.
