Malpua
Malpua is very popular dish .It is Indian pancake dessert. Mostly malpua is deep fried but I used non stick pan for making it.It is very easy recipe .Must try it.
How to make it
Ingredients
1cup boiled milk
1/2 cup maida / all purpose flour
2 tsp suji / semolina
2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp saunf / fennel seeds
Water (optional into batter)
Chopped pista/ pistachio for garnishing
Ghee
For Sugar syrup :
2 cup water
1 cup sugar
A pinch of elaichi powder
method
.first take milk and give it 2-3 boil...after it turn off gas and cool it down..
.now in a bowl add milk maida suji saunf n powdered sugar. Mix it well.make a smooth batter.(if batter is thick you can add little water).
.take non stick pan apply ghee on it.now spread batter on it just like pancake. Cook it from both sides till it turns golden brown.
. For syrup...take pan add water elaichi powder and sugar. Make syrup on medium flame like one string sugar syrup.
.dip malpua into sugar syrup for 5 mins. After it shift this malpua to serving dish and garnish with chopped pistachio.
.serve it hot.
Note.
Instead of maida you can use wheat flour.
You can also served it with rabdi
